Fire Restaurant - Auburndale, FL

The Fire Burger

It was ordered medium and arrived medium well. While not dripping with juice, it still was deliciously moist. The first bite had great grilled taste but the taste disappeared with the second and all subsequent bites.

The cheese was fully melted yet the burger arrived tepid, leaving me to believe the burger sat ready for awhile before it was delivered.  It did take about 15 minutes for the burger to arrive. Perfectly cheesy. Lettuce leafs rather than shredded would have worked better.

  • Bun:  Toasted white with a light flour dusting on top.  The bun held together from first bite to last but just barely accomplished only with measured bites and delicate handling during the last few bites.
  • Toppings: Pickles, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, herb coarse ground Dijon spread.
  • Cheese:  White American
  • Meat:  Estimated 6 oz (?) fresh ground beef.  The patty had a slight lean toward the airy side
  • Price:  $8.49 including fries and ketchup cup of coleslaw
  • Rating: 8.9
The hand cut fries were top notch.  Crisp on the outside, creamy on the inside.  The coleslaw was warm and a pass on it deal.
Restroom Rating:  6.9
