Sushi 7 is another in a string of AYCE sushi restaurants in the GTA and with so many in the GTA, it can only mean good things for us who part with the money.
Seafood Udon Noodle. Good if not outstanding.
Eel on Rice. Great tasting if somewhat small portion with a high rice ratio.
Edame, Fried Bananas, Smelt, Cold Tofu, Fried Squid Balls
Fried Scallops. Probably my least favorite item. Overcooked.
Sake Salmon, White Tuna, Fried Eel rolls. Great salmon and tuna sushi. There wasn't much to the fried eel.
short ribs, Gyu Enoki Maki beef roll, Surf Clam
Saba Grilled mackerel. It was gobbled up.
Sake Kama Shioyaki Salmon Collars. This was my favorite. Meaty, juicy, seasoned and spicy, and cooked to perfection.
Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura. The shrimp was especially well made.
Soft Shell Crab. Very good preparation.
The price was about $14 per person. I would love to have a place like this in my city.
