Cafe de Lulu - Boston, MA
Boston Chinatown of course has a plethora of Chinese restaurants and with so many to choose from it's difficult to know where to start. So many restaurants. So little time.
We stopped it at Cafe de Lulu, located down a set of stairs. Among the patrons were two of Boston's finest and a number of Asian families. Both excellent signs. Cops know where good low cost food is located.
The food was more home cooked style rather than professional restaurant quality style you would get in a competitive Toronto Chinese restaurant. Still the food was very good and better than most non-Chinatown Chinese restaurants I've been to in the US.
Restroom rating: 5.0. One of the worst kept restaurant restrooms I've been to in awhile. I was afraid to touch things in there. What does that say of their kitchen cleanliness?
