The great thing about McDonald's is that you pretty much know what you're going to get. The business model is standardized. The real difference is the workers, their attitudes, and the quality and care of the food assemblers. Do they slap it together or do they care? Sometimes the food is good, sometimes unexpectedly good but usually it's about par.
This McDonald's had a moderate amount of traffic. The help seemed to care but the employee assembling our McDoubles must have glossed over our order. It took about 10 minutes to get the McDoubles and others who ordered after us got their orders fulfilled before us.
I watched the assembler. Perfunctory. Build by the numbers. No heart.
