Le Bistro Montage - Portland, OR

Montage was incongruous with expectations and within itself.  The white linen tablecloths suggests snooty waiters yet servers are tattooed black attired sneakered hipsters. The name suggests French cuisine but rather reachable Cajun is served.

Montage is located under the Morrison bridge. The GPS may take you in circles.  Late night the angle street parking is full. Montage is busy bustling and loud with a mixed crowd.

Oyster Shooter.  Nor surprises nor letdowns.  It was what was expected given the components. Salty, sweet, tangy, and lemony.  The oyster was on the small side.

Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo.  Thick, earthy thyme, salty, with a moderate spicy kick.  Good but not extraordinary.

Restroom Rating:  Didn't use
