Bollywood Theater - Portland, OR

Bollywood was incongruous with my preconceived notions.  Instead of mom and pop and Indian family or least a majority staff of Indian heritage, it was a sea of twenty and thirty something hipsters.

It is possible for hipsters to make great food?  Time and time again it Portland, the answer is a resounding yes.  Is the possible for hipsters to make great Indian food?  Would it be considered authentic?

Kati Roll with chicken, egg, pickled onion, and green chutney rolled in paratha - an Indian flatbread. As their website says, it is a common street food in Kolkata. This was a first for me, a Kati Roll. Mildly spicy, salty, slightly tart, flaky crunchy bread but it seemed to be missing something.  Nonetheless it was very good but I'll leave the authenticity issue to others.

I'm definitely tempted to return for their other offerings.
